Delicious Way To Learn
Delicacies ranging from adobe and corn bread to Jewish blintzes, Italian stuffed pumpkin, pasties and pecan pie decked the long tables at Community High School's bicentennial banquet Wednesday. The Thanksgiving celebration of multi-ethnic America reflected the culinary contributions of Native Americans and those ethnic groups that have come to America since the first Thanksgiving. Chris Crockett, Community High librarian and chief organizer of the feast, said between 450 and 475 students, Community Resource teachers, staff and guests shared the meal.
