Sue Parrish and her daughter Katie Miller, both of Hickory Corners, flew their AT6-SNJ into Ann Arbor Municipal Airport this morning. It was anniversary time as 13 other private planes staged a "fly-in" to mark the golden anniversary of the founding of the Michigan Aeronautics Commission. The planes stopped here while on a three-day tour of Michigan airports. Among the flyers were Murray Van Wagoner, former Michigan governor and highway commissioner. Parrish was an Air Corps ferry pilot in World War II.
