CHANGING TIMES - Tom Willoughby, owner of Willoughby's Shoes, says downtown Ypsilanti 'has been good to us,' but adds 'times have changed,' possibly outdating the family shoe store. The shoe store at 121 W. Michigan Ave. - one of downtown Ypsilanti's few remaining landmark stores - will begin its going-out-of-business sale March 13. Darby's Shoes, visible through the shop window, will also be closing soon.
