BOND SALES START: Helen M. McNally sells a $1,000 War bond to Nuel E. Smock as Washtenaw County and Ann Arbor start work ahead of time on the nation's $13,000,000,000 War Loan Campaign, which opens officially Monday. Members of the War Loan Finance Committee say big purchases are essential to meet Washtenaw's unprecedented quota of $6,380,000. Miss McNally and Mr. Smock are both war workers at King-Seeley.
