The 97,000-seat stadium is strange and quiet these days, buried under an accumulated snowfall which all but obliterated seats, railings and retaining walls. The gridiron, kept clear during the regular football season, is covered with snow to a depth of two feet in spots. The University has no plans to shovel out the huge bowl.
