'Awash' Job - Downtown merchants were "swabbing the decks" today in their annual cleanup of the Main St. promenade, using brooms and water hoses. The promenade had collected great amounts of rubbish during the long winter months which saw snow covering at least part of the promenade most of the time. On the job are (left to right) Tom Neff, Joe Knieper, Harlow Olson and Jerry Keyes. Many others assisted.
