INTRODUCING . ..
Douglas c. Sprigg (Director-Choreographer) is a teaching fellow at the U of M. He has acted and directed with University Players, directed Musket's "Camelot," and acted in and directed "She Stoops to Conquer'· for AACT.
Bradley Bloom (Music Director) has been music director for the last five Gi !bert and Sullivan Society productions; this is his first contemporary musical. He is Conductor of Choirs and Instructor in Theory at Schoolcraft College in Livonia and is Associate Conductor of Choirs at the U of M.
Peggy Morgenstern (Assistant Director) has done props, costumes, assistant directing, and stage managing for AACT, Musket, and the Detroit Summer Theatre. She is working on her MAin library science and works in the U of M Law Library.
George Groehsl (Stage Manager) is currently employed in Northern Michigan and returned to Ann Arbor to stage manage this production. He stage managed "George M" for Musket last year and was assistant stage manager for AACT's "Marne." Anyone interested in feeding Mr. Groehsl during his sojourn here may call him at 662-9405.
Harold Haugh (Don Quixote) is a Professor of Music at the U of M, an ordained minister, and likes golf and fishing. Aside from some Gilbert and Sullivan in college, this is his first venture into musical theatre.
John Allen (Sancho Panza) is working on a PhD in American Culture and teaching a film course in the Residential College. He has had leads in many Gilbert and Sullivan productions and has directed two. He last appeared with AACT in "She Stoops to Conquer."
Joan Susswein(Aidonza) is a junior at the University majoring in theatre science. She has appeared with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Musket, Student Lab Theatre, and most recently, with University Players in "Caucasian Chalk Circle."
Charles Sutherland (Governor) teaches second grade in the Detroit School System. He has played many roles in Gilbert and Sullivan and most recently appeared with U Players in "Dark of the Moon."
H. D. Cameron (Duke) is an Associate Professor of Greek and Latin. Faculty Advisor for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, he has appeared in three of their productions in the last year to get in voice for this role.
John Reid Klein (Padre) is a Professional Theatre Program Acting Fellow this year. Mr. Klein is fond of rei igious roles. Earlier this season he played Dupas, the hippie priest, in "Little Murders" and, earlier in his career, played a nun in "Sound of Music."
Robert C. Medlar (Paco) is a pre-med and speech student at the U of M from Jackson. He has appeared in many productions of the Clark Lake Players, is an officer in the Michigan Mens Glee Club, and has worked as an MC.

Peter Miller (Pedro) is a senior in journal ism at the U of M who has given much time to Gilbert and Sullivan productions and will appear in the Musket "My Fair Lady."
Bruce Kent (Anselmo) is a member of the U of M Glee Club and has been a member of its Octet for two years. He has appeared in student laboratory productions and last appeared with U Players in "Caucasian Chalk Circle."
Peter Mellencamp (Jose) is a student at Pioneer High School. He has appeared in Gilbert and Sullivan both in Ann Arbor and at Interlochen Music Camp.
Dave Roeger (Juan) is an engineering student at the U of M who dances with the Ann Arbor Civic Ballet. He has Performed often with Musket and last worked for AACT in "Mama."
Judy Levitt (Antonia) is a newcomer to Ann Arbor but already is a stalwart of AACT. She played the ingenue in the season's first production, "Cactus Flower." Judy has a long Iist of credits to her name both in this country and abroad and has her MA in theatre.
Betty Ann Gould(Housekeeper) is a familiar face to AACT audiences. A graduate student in radio-TV and mother of five children, she is married to the Captain of the Inquisition.
Dale Gonyea (Barber) is a cocktail pianist and a senior in music education at the U of M. He has appeared with the Monroe Community Players and played the lead in last years Musket "George M."
Jan Young (Maria) is a student in theatre at the U of M. She was recently assist- ant Production Manager & Production Secretary for the Professional Theatre Program, and has appeared in Student Laboratory Theatre Productions.
Ann Crumb (Fermina) is also a student in theatre. She has appeared in many Student Laboratory Theatre productions, plays the violin, and has worked in summer stock.
Dr. Stuart Gould (Captain of the Inquisition) has spent 17 years in AACT and is presently on the Board. A local psychiatrist, he is married to tonight's House- keeper.
