presents ... Rapunz{ll By Karen Boettcher-Tate Directed by M. Kate Murphy Nov 6-9, 2008 Visit www.a2ct.org ••• ¥lashtenaw ~ Community College Produced through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. Director's Notes I suspect most of you are familiar with the traditional Rapunzel story about a young girl who gets locked in a tower by a wicked witch and must let her hair grow. In this version, Karen Boettcher-Tate has added humor and some quirky characters to make the Witch and her dreaded Glumpwarts less frightening. And in the end, our new "Rapunzel" offers an important lesson about the true nature of beauty and goodness as we learn that everyone lives happily ever after. J(ah .MwtpfuJ Director The producer would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the parents for their enthusiastic volunteering, from party planning, truck driving, program making, sewing, publicity, ushering, box office, tech, photography .... the list goes on. Without your talent, effort, and awesome kids this play wouldn't be possible. Thank you to Ruth Ann Logue and Jacqueline Courteau for donating many of the items used for costumes.
