Mrs. Albert Sorg, 77, former resident of Ann Arbor, died early this morning at her home in Grand Rapids, after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late John G. and Anna Mary Volz, pioneer Washtenaw county settlers, and was born May 8, 1852, in Scio township. She moved to Grand Rapids 33 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Albert, jr., of Grand Rapids and Robert in Minnesota; a daughter, Emma of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren; two brothers, Frederick and John Volz of Scio and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at the residence in Grand Rapids, and the body will be brought to Ann Arbor for further services at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel. Rev. E. C. Stellhorn will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
