(Special to The Daily News)
Pittsfield, Oct. 3. - Fred Robbins, 65, died suddenly Friday morning at his home in Pittsfield. Mrs. Robbins had been in Detroit during the day and found him dead in the home on her return. Indications that he had read the mail but had not had his lunch aided in fixing the time of death.
He was born in Ypsilanti, and was the son of the late William Robbins, Ypsilanti merchant. He had resided in Pittsfield, Indianapolis and Detroit. A sister, Minnie, died a week ago.
He is survived by the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Carl B. Ecker of Toledo; and a sister, Mrs. Samuel Post of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home and interment will be in Highland cemetery.
