Andrew Mast, 56, of 304 Third St., died Tuesday at his home after a lingering illness.
He was born Feb. 16, 1877, in Schorrenthal-Besenfeld, Germany, and came to the United States in 1888 with his mother, sister and brother. He lived in Plymouth, Ind., until 1896, when he came to Ann Arbor. He was married to Emma Seitz of Lima Oct. 12, 1905, and had lived in Ann Arbor ever since. He was employed by the Martin Haller furniture firm, for the past 12 years.
He is survived by the widow, two sons, Andrew and Walter of Ann Arbor; two brothers, Fred and George of Agus, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Fredericka Mast of Plymouth, Ind., and Mrs. Mary Mohrloch of Ann Arbor; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services which will be private, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence, Rev. T. R. Schmale will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the home this evening and Thursday.
