Mrs. Mattie E. Hollowell, 69 years old, was found dead this morning in her apartment at 1000 East Catherine St., apparently as a result of a heart attack. She was the wife of Emery B. Hollowell, University hospital orderly. Coroner E. C. Ganzhorn ordered an autopsy.
Surviving Mrs. Hollowell besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. John Brunt of Roscommon and three sons, Ralph of Ann Arbor, Howard of Royal Oak and Robert of Ypsilanti. She had lived in Ann Arbor the past eight years with her husband. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
