Ypsilanti, July 5—Mrs. Julia Lytle, 74 years old, widow of the late William H. Lytle, and a resident of Ypsilanti for 72 years, died at six o’clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Lelling, 430 Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, after an illness of eleven months from a complication of diseases. She had made her home with Mrs. Lelling for the past two years.

Mrs. Lytle, formerly Miss Julia Smith, was born in Ypsilanti April 28, 1861, and was married to Mr. Lytle Nov. 8, 1887. Three children were born to the couple, William, jr., who died several years ago; George H. Lytle, Ypsilanti; and Mrs. Lelling, Ann Arbor.

Besides the two children she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George B. Jackson, this city, and Mrs. Mary McCann, Baltimore, Md.

Funeral services will be held at nine o’clock Saturday morning in St. John’s Catholic church here, and burial will be in St. John’s cemetery.

Friends may call at the J. E. Moore funeral home here until the hour of service.
