Mrs. Heinzmann Passes At Home
Week's Illness Is Fatal To Aged Woman
Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Heinzmann, 79, widow of the late John Heinzmann, died this morning at her home at 1516 Morton Ave., after an illness of a week.
She was born April 2, 1858, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Weimer. The family home at that time was located on the present site of the Y.W.C.A. on S. Fourth Ave. at William St.
She had lived in Ann Arbor all her life. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church and was a charter member of the Ladies Aid society of the church.
Mr. Heinzmann, an Ann Arbor business man, died Feb. 7, 1923. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Edwards of Ann Arbor; a son, Eugene J. Heinzmann, secretary, treasurer and manager of the Artificial Ice Co.; and granddaughter, Helen Jean Edwards, Ann Arbor; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Volz and Mrs. Fredericka Mann, both of Ann Arbor and Mrs. George Bohnet of Scio township; a brother, Albert Weimer of Ann Arbor; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Saturday afternoon at the residence with Rev. E. C. Stellhorn officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
