Indiana Wins Title In Big Ten Meet
CHICAGO—Harold Nichols was the only member of the Michigan wrestling team to win an individual Big Ten mat title here Saturday as Indiana swept into the team championship with a total of 19 points.
Michigan and Illinois tied for second place with 19 points, followed by Minnesota with 12, Iowa 9, Ohio State 2, Wisconsin 1 and Northwestern 1.
Nichols won his title in the 145-pound class by defeating Jack Morton of Minnesota by decision in the finals.
