Deputy Sheriffs Thomas L. Knight and R. Day Bird yesterday afternoon recovered the body of Mrs. Louise Palmer, 1203 Oakland Ave., from the Huron river near where her car had been found abandoned at the Geddes Rd. bridge Wednesday. Dr. Edwin C. Ganzhorn, coroner, said she had taken her own life by drowning because of despondency over poor health.
