Mrs. Mervine Bryant, 20 years old, wife of Francis O. Bryant, 717 N. Fourth Ave., died this morning in St. Joseph's Mercy hospital after an illness of several months.
She was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Jay and Blanche Crawford Mitchell. She had lived in Ann Arbor all her life.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Francis, jr.; her parents; and a brother, Kenneth Mitchell, all of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the A.M.E. Church. Rev. J. Wesley Wright will officiate and burial will be in Fairview cemetery. The body will lie in state Monday at the church from 1 o'clock until the hour of the service.
