Mrs. Johanna Herzog
Mrs. Johanna F. Herzog, 78 years old, wife of William Herzog, died this morning at her home at 431 Third St., after a lingering illness.
She was born Oct. 26, 1860, in Germany, and came to this country June 4, 1873. She had lived in Washtenaw county since. She was married June 3, 1883, in Scio township.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, William F., Herman and Harold T., all of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Gabler and Mrs. Otto Malcolm of Ann Arbor; two brothers, Herman Weber of Louisville, Ky., and William Weber of Ann Arbor; a sister, Mrs. Fred Young of Birmingham, Mich.; nine grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
She was a member of the Bethlehem church and Ladies Aid society of the church. She also was a member of the Lady Maccabees.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Hildinger funeral home with Rev. Theodore Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
