ILLNESS FATAL: Mrs. Mary Hendrickson Loree, above, prominent socially and a member of a widely known Ann Arbor family, died this morning in St. Joseph's Mercy hospital, after a brief illness. Mrs. Mary Loree Dies In Hospital Brief Illness Fatal To Prominent Resident Mrs. Mary Hendrickson Loree of the Forest Plaza, member of a prominent Ann Arbor family, died early this morning in St. Joseph's Mercy hospital after a brief illness. She was 36 years old. Mrs. Loree was graduated from Highland Hall, Hollidaysburg, Pa., and attended the University of Michigan, affiliating with Alpha Phi sorority. She was employed in the sociology department of the University. A resident of Ann Arbor most of her life, Mrs. Loree was prominent in social circles here. She was born Aug. 24, 1903, in Chicago. She is survived by her son, Dean Hendrickson Loree; her mother, Mrs. Forman Hendrickson of San Diego, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Irvin of Harvard Pl., and Mrs. Grace Hendrickson Ayres of San Diego, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel, where friends may call. Rev. Henry Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be E. J. Huntington, Herbert G. Watkins, Dr. Edgar A. Kahn, Dr. Rigdon K. Ratliff, and Dr. William M. Brace of this city, and William Lucking of Detroit.
