Edward F. Couper Dies At Residence
Edward F. Couper, 80 years old, of 319 S. Fifth Ave. died this morning at his home following an illness of several years.
He was born Jan. 15, 1859, in Wolverton, England, the son of the late James and Marion Miller Couper. He came to Azalia, Mich. at the age of seven with his parents. He has resided in Ann Arbor since 1918.
Surviving are his widow, Jennie McArthur Couper; two sons, Edward M. and William M., both of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Green of Whitmore Lake and Miss Mary Elizabeth Couper of Ann Arbor; a sister, Mrs. Carl B. Duerr of Radburn, N. J. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Muehlig funeral chapel, Rev. Fred Cowin officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the chapel.
