Miss Jane Gochis Is Married To Mr. Walsh

Miss Jane Gochis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Gochis of W. Davis Ave. and Arnold J. Walsh, son of Mrs. Patrick Walsh of Detroit St. and the late Mr. Walsh, were united in marriage at rites performed at 7:30 last night at St. Thomas Catholic church rectory, by Rev. John M. Lynch.

A powder blue crepe frock was worn by the bride. It had a short jacket with collar and cuffs matching the white eyelet embroidered bodice and the wide girdle had a row of buttons at the front. With this she wore a navy blue taffeta turban with blue flowers and her corsage was of pink camellias.

The maid of honor was her sister, Anne, who wore a gray crepe dress with gray accessories and a corsage of lavender irises. Miss Mary Margaret Ritz a bridesmaid, wore a rose and white printed frock with dark blue accessories and gardenias. She is a niece of the bridegroom.

James Walsh of Midland, formerly of Ann Arbor, attended his brother as best man.

A reception for about 50 guests was held in the Grand Rapids room of the Michigan League after the ceremony. An arrangement of spring flowers was used on the table at which the wedding cake and other refreshments were served.

Mr. and Mrs. Walsh are graduates of Ann Arbor High school and are employed at the Hoover Ball & Bearing Co. plant. After a short trip they will return to Ann Arbor to live at 540 Packard St.
