Bill Combs Picked To Lead Wrestlers
Bill Combs, 145-pounder from Tulsa, Okla., last night was selected captain of the Michigan wrestling squad for next season. He was runner-up in both the recent Big Ten and National Collegiate tournaments.
Rated as one of the outstanding stars in the nation, Combs will be the backbone of next year’s team as graduation will remove Forrest “Butch” Jordan, Don Nichols, Jim Galles and Harland Danner.
