Lions Install New Officers
New officers of the Ann Arbor Lions club were installed Saturday night at a dinner dance held by members and their wives at the Michigan Union. Bert C. Reynolds, past president, served as toastmaster and installing officer.
J. Von Bush is the new president of the club, succeeding Albert Hooper. Under the direction of Mr. Bush, who served as dance chairman in 1939-40, the club raised $1,800 the past year to help the blind.
Other officers for 1940-1941 are: First vice-president, John Dyer; second vice-president, John Alexander; third vice-president, Clayton Hollis; secretary, Franklin Keunzel; treasurer, Gill Clarke; Lion tamer, John Morrow; and tail twister, Stanley Loveland. Directors are Albert Hooper, Fred Arnet, Harold Lepard, Lyle Thayer and Dr. Carl H. Frye.
