Mrs. Jane H. Sherwood

YPSILANTI—Mrs. Jane H. Sherwood, 66 years old, wife of Norris C. Sherwood, 106 S. Washington St., this city, died yesterday at the family home following an illness of four days which culminated an extended period of ill health.

She was born March 15, 1874, in St. Clair, a daughter of James and Louise Hamilton, and lived there until her marriage, June 15, 1897, to Mr. Sherwood, since which time the couple have resided continuously in the home where Mrs. Sherwood’s death occurred. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Miss Helen Sherwood and Mrs. Robert Southgate, both of Ypsilanti; two grandchildren; and one brother, Capt. William Hamilton, St. Clair.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday at the J. E. Moore funeral home here, with Rev. Harvey C. Colburn officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.
