SOUTH LYON - Mrs. James Laughlin, 86 years old, died yesterday morning, at the home near here. She was born Jan. 1, 1855, at Meadville, Pa., where she married William White, Oct. 9, 1872. The Whites came to Plymouth from Pennsylvania, later moving to Ann Arbor and then to Hamburg.
Mr. White died Dec. 29, 1913, and Mrs. White married James L. Laughlin, Rushton, June 6, 1923. She is survived by the husband; a sister, Amae Consla, Meadville, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Begine, Detroit, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be from the St. Patrick's Catholic church in Brighton Thrusday morning at 8:45. Rev. Maurice W. Kissane will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery there.
