Music Alumni Award Medal At Luncheon
The University School of Music Alumni Association had its annual luncheon and meeting today at the Michigan League, with about 150 Ann Arbor members and members from out of town who are here for the May Festival.
Highlight of the meeting was the presentation of two Stanley medals for outstanding music achievement, made by Dr. Earl V. Moore, director of the school of music. One of the recipients was an Ann Arbor pianist, John A. Wolaver of Hill St. and the other was James B. Wolfe of Omaha, Neb. Both are seniors in the school, and Mr. Wolaver is a son of Prof. and Mrs. Earl S. Wolaver of Hill St.
Miss Nora Crane Hunt of the Forest Plaza, chairman of the executive committee of the association, presided at the luncheon meeting, and Prof. Otto J. Stahl was toastmaster. Songs by the University Glee Club were a feature of the program, and brief talks were given by Dr. Charles A. Sink, president of the University Musical society; T. Hawley Tapping, general secretary of the Alumni
