WILL RUN IN MILLROSE MEET: Michigan's two-mile relay team shown here will run in the Millrose meet at Madison Square Garden Saturday night. Two years ago the Wolverines won this event at the Millrose while last year they were third.
Coach Ken Doherty thinks this is the fastest quartet he has sent to New York. From left to right it is composed of Bob Ufer, Capt. Dave Matthews, John Roxborough and Bob Hume, the latter a sophomore.
In addition to competing in the relay Ufer will run in the 600 yard event while Matthews will compete in the half mile. In the 600 Ufer will oppose Roy Cochran, the defending champion as well as Russ Owens, Ohio State star, and others.
