Mrs. Anna C. Biedermann, widow of John B. Biedermann, died this noon at her home, 714 W. Liberty St., after a long illness.
Born Jan. 12, 1867, in Oberlauering, Bavaria, Germany, she came to Ann Arbor in 1891, and was married to Mr. Biedermann on Dec. 1, 1891. He preceded her in death on Apr. 6, 1938.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church and of the Ladies' Aid of the church, having been a former president and secretary of the organization for six years each. She was also a member of the Ladies' Arbeiter Society of both Ann Arbor and Manchester.
Mrs. Biedermann was one of the original organizers of the local 4-H club, and was active in that group, and organized the local Farmers' Market.
She was the mother of nine children, five of whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Burnell Tindall and Mrs. Oscar Parsons, of Ann Arbor, two sons, William, of Ann Arbor, and Fred, of Jackson, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Friday in the Muehlig Chapel with Rev. E. C. Stellhorn officiating.
Burial will take place in the Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
