John T. Hanselmann, 72, died Tuesday afternoon at his home at 620 Fifth St., following a brief illness.

He was born on July 13, 1871, in Germany and came to Ann Arbor in 1885. He has made his home here since that time.

He was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Schwaben Verein.

On April 18, 1900, he was married to Wilhelmina Eberwein of Ann Arbor, who survives him. Also surviving him is a son, Clarence Hanselman, of Ann Arbor, one brother, William, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Horning, both of Ann Arbor.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Muehlig funeral chapel with Rev. Theodore Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
