Flying Officer Guy A. Wood, jr., of 529 Walnut St., is a pilot with the City of Windsor Spitfire squadron, a Canadian Air Force unit which helped clear the island of Sicily of Axis forces. This Royal Canadian Air Force photograph was taken at the squadron's Sicilian base.
