Mrs. Minnie Reach, 43 years old, the widow of James Reach, superintendent of the Meadows, the Harry B. Earhart estate, until his death June 22, 1939, died this morning at her home, 112 N. Ravena Blvd., following a long illness.
She was a native of Scotland and was born in Edinburgh on Nov. 27, 1900. Prior to her marriage to Mr. Reach, she was a member of the British Service in London.
Mrs. Reach came to this country in 1924 and to Ann Arbor, where she had since lived, in 1928. She was a member of the Methodist church and of the Kings' Daughters organization of the church.
A son, Cadet Ian Reach, stationed at Nashville, Tenn., and four brothers survive.
Funeral services have been tentatively set, pending arrival of the son, for 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and will be held at the Muehlig chapel. Rev. Ralph G. Dunlop will officiate and burial will be in a cemetery on the Earhart estate. Friends may call at the chapel.
