Frederick Sykes, 81 years old, died this noon at his home, 4921 Miller Rd., following a long illness. A native of England, he had lived in Ann Arbor for 17 years.
Survivors include the wife, Millie Salmon Sykes, two sons, two daughters, two sisters, a brother, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Muehlig chapel at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Rev. E. C. Stringer will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
