YPSILANTI - Mrs. Bertha Fredericka Selter, 79 years old, widow of the late William Selter, was found dead yesterday in her home, 5587 McCrone Rd., having apparently succumbed to a heart attack. She had been in poor health for some time.
She was born Aug. 24, 1864, in Germany, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Neumann, and on Jan. 16, 1891, was married in Detroit to Mr. Selter. The couple made their home near Romulus for some years, and in 1927 came to the farm home near Stony Creek, where Mr. Selter died Sept. 26, 1935, since which time his widow has continued to live in the same place.
She is survived by two sons, William and Henry, and one daughter, Mrs. Edward Henry, all of Stony Creek, south of this city.
A prayer service will be said at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the Selter home, and funeral services will be at 2:15 at the St. Paul's church, Saline, with Rev. Wittbracht officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery, Saline.
Friends may call at the McCrone Rd. address.
