Mrs. Matilda H. Granger, 82 years old and the widow of Ross Granger, former Ann Arbor city treasurer and clerk, died yesterday at the home of a son, Bradley F. Granger, Grosse Point, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Granger had been an Ann Arbor resident for many years before moving to Detroit 12 years ago. She was preceded in death, in 1925, by her husband.
A daughter of Jacob and Katherine Hangsterfer, Mrs. Granger was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, of the Star Past Matrons Club, of the Matilda Perrine post of the Spanish American War Veterans and of St. Andrew's Episcopal church.
Survivors include two sons, Bradley F. and Edward Ross Granger, both of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. James Slevens, Romeo; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Muehlig chapel. Rev. Phillip Schenk will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends amy call at the chapel.
