Mrs. Carrie Parker
Mrs. Carrie Parker, 81 years old and the widow of Russell Parker, died Friday afternoon at the home of her sons, Warren and Homer Parker, on Parker Rd. in Scio township. The daughter of Charles and Mary Bessinger Clements, she was born in Lima township on March 10, 1862, and was a lifelong county resident. For 23 years she had lived in Ann Arbor before going to her sons' home two years ago. Survivors include three sons, Erwin Clements, and Homer and Warren Parker, all of Scio township; a sister, Mrs. Mertie Parker, Ann Arbor; a brother, Harvey, Elsmore, Calif., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Muehlig chapel with Rev. Ralph G. Dunlop officiating. Burial was to be in the Parker-Clements cemetery in Scio township.
