Mrs. Jean Paton Wilson
Mrs. Jean Paton Wilson, 88, widow of William O. Wilson, died this morning after a brief illness, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Currie of 214 E. William St. She was born Oct. 18, 1855, at Almont and had been a resident of Ann Arbor for the past 32 years, coming here from Lake Linden, Mich. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. She was married on March 15, 1877, and Mr. Wilson died on Sept. 21, 1934. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Currie, and by three sons, John of Seattle, Alexander of Ypsilanti and Donald L. of Detroit. A fourth son, William R. Wilson, died a week ago today, and was buried last Sunday. Also surviving her are 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Rollins of Amasa, Mich., and a brother, Rev. Robert Paton of Chesterland, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Friday afternoon at the Muehlig funeral chapel with Rev. Charles Brashares officiating. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial park. Friends may call at the Muehlig chapel.
