E.C. Schlenker

E. C. Schlenker, factory manager of Plant 1, Argus. Inc., is buying War Bonds on a continuous plan and extra bonds during the Fifth War Loan drive. He says:

"I am investing in America now with the hope that my son and other men's sons will have a better world without another war to fight."

Joe Conover

Joe Conover, 719 McKinley, a bearing race grinder at Hoover Steel Ball, is buying two bonds in the Fifth War Loan. His son, Creel Conover, is in the Army, now being stationed In North Carolina.

"Everybody should buy bonds,” says Mr. Conover. "I want to do my best to help win the war.”
