Heusel Appointed Police Sergeant
Albert Heusel, of the Ann Arbor police force, was officially promoted to the rank of detective sergeant this morning by action of the police commissioners. Heusel joined the force March 15, 1924, and on Dec. 19, 1939, was promoted to detective.
George Stauch, recently, kidnaped officer, who joined the police department Nov. 1, 1935, was promoted to detective, effective today, to fill a vacancy left by Harry G. Smith who resigned from the force May 15.
