Mrs. Anna Corey Chase, 58-year-old wife of Fred Chase, sr., died at her home, 732 Packard St., Saturday afternoon following a brief illness. She was born July 27, 1885, in Chelsea and was a daughter of Daniel and Sarah McCober Corey.

She was married Sept. 17, 1907, to Mr. Chase and had resided here many years. Mrs. Chase was a member of St. Thomas Catholic church and of the church Altar society.

Survivors include the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Elliot L. Bjork and Mrs. Gail D. Thomas, both of Ann Arbor; two sons, Henry F. Chase, stationed at Government Island, Alameda, Calif., and Pvt. Fred Chase, jr., at Camp Houze, Tex., one sister, Miss Mary Corey, and three brothers, William L., George B., and Herbert G. Corey, all of Detroit, an aunt, Miss Anna McCober, who has made her home with the family several years, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock tomorrow morning at St. Thomas church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery at Chelsea. Friends may call at the residence where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight.
