Miss Nellie Seymour Loving, 83, of 214 N. Ingalls St., died yesterday noon at Detroit after a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1860, at Lovingston, Va., and came to Ann Arbor in the early 1880’s. Miss Loving was the librarian at Ann Arbor High school for 40 years and retired 20 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist church and the Woman’s club.
Surviving her are a brother-in-law, Arthur C. Roberts, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and five cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 Sunday afternoon at the Staffan-Hildinger funeral home with Bishop Charles W. Brashares officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
