Robert B. Hall, professor of geography at the University of Michigan, now on active duty with the United States Army in China, has been promoted bey cause of meritorious service to the rank of full colonel, according to word received by his wife, now residing in Ann Arbor. Col. Hall is attached to the Office of Strategic Services Headquarters in China. In the course of his duties he has been under fire several times.
