Alec A. Boutell

YPSILANTI - Alec A. Boutell, 69 years old, retired mail carrier died Saturday afternoon at his home at 602 Congress St.
He was born Nov. 1, 1875, in Augusta township, the son of Hiram S. and Mary Connor Boutell. He married Mabel J. Hanlon June 22, 1898, in Chattanooga, Tenn.
A Spanish War veteran, Mr. Boutell was a member of Phoenix Masonic lodge No. 13 and the Methodist Episcopal church.
Surviving him are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Robert M. Van Duzer, jr., of Detroit; a brother, William Boutell, of Tuttle Hill, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Moore funeral home with Rev. Walter B. Heyler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home.
