George E. Bolt, 83 years old, died this morning at his home, 403 Church St., after several weeks' illness.
He was born in 1861 in New York state. Coming here from Plymouth, he had lived with his grandson, George E. Calton, for the past 11 years. He was a member of the IOOF lodge in Detroit.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred Covert, Dexter, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Muehlig funeral home. Rev. Ralph Dunlop will officiate and burial will be in Woodmere cemetery, Detroit. Friends may call at the chapel.
