CHURCH ST. MAN FATALLY INJURED
John P. Bellore Dies Following Car Crash
John P. Bellore, 27, of 1032 Church St., died in St. Joseph’s Mercy hospital early this morning, four hours after being admitted for treatment of injuries received in an automobile accident at 9 o’clock last night.
Police reported that the accident occurred when Bellore, driving west on Stadium Blvd., passed a truck and then swerved in front of it, attempting to turn right onto Baldwin Ave. The truck, driven by Burnelle Lee Robinson of Dearborn, skidded several feet but was unable to halt before it had driven Bellore’s car over the curb.
Thrown out of his car, Bellore suffered a fractured skull.
