School Board Accepts Eber White Woods

SCHOOL BOARD ACCEPTS EBER WHITE WOODS: Shown above is a winter photograph of Eber White Woods which was published at the time the University offered to trade 34 acres of the land for 25 acres at the municipal airport. Withdrawal last week of the University offer to the city was followed by an offer of the 34 acres to the school district as a gift. The Board of Education last night accepted the gift, which makes the school district the owner of all of Eber White Woods, since the district had previously received eight acres.
