CHILDREN GIVE HIM NEW PUP: When the 16-year-old collie owned by Claude Wyman, Burns park groundskeeper, died last fall, the children of Tappan Junior High school decided to buy Mr. Wyman a new dog. A sum of $75 was raised as a Christmas gift, but since Mr. Wyman preferred to wait until spring to raise the pup the purchase was not made till this week. "Lucky," who bears the same name as his 16-year-old predecessor, is pictured above evidently enjoying the spring sunshine and the attentions of Mr. Wyman and the schoolboys. The Tappan pupils in the picture are, left to right, Charles Veigel, John Cole, and Richard Parker.
