George Vogel
George Vogel, 78 years old, died yesterday at his home, 3405 W. Liberty Rd., following a long illness. He was born Nov. 19, 1867, in Scio township and was a son of Ludwig and Sophia Vogel. He had been a lifelong Scio township resident and was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.
He married Emma J. Happier on April 10, 1898. She preceded him in death Nov. 12, 1931.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Emma Andress, W. Liberty Rd., and Mrs. Clara Schwartz, Ann Arbor; an adopted son, Walter Vogel, Ann Arbor; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Muehlig chapel with Rev. E. C. Stellhorn officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
