John C. Miller
John C. Miller, 82, of 514 E. Ann St., died at his home last night after an illness of about five weeks.
Born in Webster township July 19, 1864, a son of Adam and Barbara Heininger Miller, he had resided in Ann Arbor most of his life. For 50 years, until his retirement two years ago, he was employed at Wahr's downtown book store. He was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed church.
He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Mary Andres and the Misses Martha and Emma Miller, all of Ann Arbor, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel, Rev. Theodore Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Miller residence until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.
