PATROLMAN Jay Hamm, 30, was born in Iosco county and is a graduate of the Flushing, (Mich.), High school. He logged more than a year and a half of service with the Army and received his discharge less than two months ago. Ex-Sgt. Hamm is at present making his home at Whitmore Lake.

PATROLMAN Robert Robinson, 23, a native of Liberty, S. C., served with the Army Air Forces from December, 1942, until February, 1946. Before joining the Ann Arbor police force he was employed as a construction worker on one of the University's building projects. He resides at 1890 Upland Dr.

POLICEWOMAN Jewel E. Reynolds, 42, was born in Vienna, Ill., and is a graduate of the Illinois Southern State Teachers' College. A former member of the Detroit House of Corrections, she will be in charge of juvenile work for the local department. Her home presently is in Ypsilanti.

PATROLMAN Arthur Meggison, 28, is a native of northern Michigan, born in Charlevoix. He spent the latter part of his boyhood in Detroit, where he was graduated from Cass Technical High school. He is a former employe of the Hoover Ball & Bearing Co. and lives at 503 Church St.

PATROLMAN Lewis G. Gardner, 24, 1009 Huron River Dr., is a former King-Seeley Corp. employe. He served with the U. S. Marines from 1942 to 1945. Born in this city, he is a graduate of Ann Arbor High school, where he took part in athletics and earned letters in both baseball and basketball.
