Nelson Elected By Kiwanis Club
Viggo O. Nelson, realtor, yesterday was elected president of the Ann Arbor Kiwanis club for 1947. He was secretary of the club for 21 years until last year. He will take over his new office in January, succeeding Wendell La Coe.
Due to a tie vote the offices of first and second vice-presidents of the club will be determined in a suspended meeting next week. Calvin Wolf was re-elected treasurer, and Ferd Schlesinger, Melvin Ivory, Kenneth Hallenbeck and Harold Barnum were elected to the board of directors.
Heads Kiwanians
Ann Arbor Kiwanians have elected V. O. Nelson, local realtor, as president for 1947. He has served the club for 21 years as secretary.
